• Mr. Dipak Desar (Nepal)

Mr. Desar has been working in the humanitarian and development sectors since 2010. He started his journey in the development sector at World Vision International as ADP Finance Coordinator. He was in Sunsari, the eastern Terai region of Nepal. After World Vision International, he joined the International Committee of Red Cross (ICRC) as an accountant in Kathmandu central office. Then he got an opportunity to work in UNDP funded project named Armed Violence Reduction and Strengthening Community Sector (AVRSCS) under the Ministry of Home Affairs as an Admin-Finance Assistant. Later he worked in the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s office as an admin finance assistant. Before joining UNICEF ROSA, he was working in UNDP Procurement. He has mainly worked in admin, finance, logistics, and procurement while working in various development organizations. He has sound knowledge and expertise in financial management in various international systems. While working in various organizations.


  • Dr. Gao Liang (China)

Dr. Gao Liang is serving as Assistant Research Fellow at the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS), Sichuan University, China. He was also a visiting scholar at International Center for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD). He is one of the editors of Nepal and Its Neighbours in the Changing World. He is also an editorial board member of the Asian Journal of International Affairs (AJIA) promoted by the Kathmandu School of Law. In Nepal, he is known as a young expert in China-Nepal relations.   • Mr. Hari Prakash Chand (Nepal)

Mr. Chand is pursuing PhD in International Relations and Diplomacy from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He is one of the first batch PhD candidates in International Relations and Diplomacy at Tribhuvan University, Nepal. He is the Founding Chairperson of Nepal Institute of Foreign Affairs and Prosperity (NIFAP), a Kathmandu-based think tank comprised of Nepali young researchers. He is one of the editors of “Nepal and its Neighbours in the Changing World”. Mr. Chand has served as the Founding Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Journal of International Affairs (AJIA). He has also worked as a Lecturer in International Relations and Diplomacy at the Kathmandu School of Law. In the past, he was associated as Director of International Relations at the Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Kantipath, Kathmandu. Mr. Chand has presented numerous research papers at national and international conferences and Seminars.   • Mr. Ihsan Ullah (Pakistan)

Mr. Ullah is from Pakistan and has M.Phil. degree in International Relations (IR) from the Institute of South Asian Studies (ISAS) Sichuan University, Chengdu, China, and currently pursuing his PhD from Collaborative Innovation Center for Security and Development of Western Frontier China, School of International Studies Sichuan University, Chengdu, China. He has published several research papers in world-renowned journals. During his Ph.D. research, he also serves as an assistant to his supervisor and taught master’s degree students at Sichuan University, China. He has been closely working to assist the consulate general of Pakistan at Chengdu and arranged a different cultural program to strengthen China-Pakistan relations.   • Dr. Sneha Patel (India)

Dr. Patel has been working as Assistant Professor at the Centre for Women’s Studies, Dr. Rammanohar Lohia Avadh University, Ayodhya. She has also worked as Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science, Vasanta College for Women, Varanasi. She achieved a doctoral degree from the Department of Political Science, Banaras Hindu University, India. Her research area mainly focuses on International relations especially India-Nepal Relationship, South Asia, etc. She has published Papers in peer-reviewed journals and chapters in edited volumes. She has also a blog “Indo-Nepal: Losing Cultural Diplomacy over Boundary Dispute,” published by the Centre for Public Diplomacy, University of Southern California. She has qualified for India’s National Eligibility Test (NET) two times in 2013 & 2018. Her research focuses on soft power, public diplomacy, politics in South Asia, Women and Gender Studies, and Indian Government and Politics.
